A Langhorne woman with an unusual hair style and coloring apparently felt “some type of way” late last month, screaming ‘I’ve got something for you’ brandishing a Glock handgun at a man trying to put air in a truck tire at the Morrisville Wawa.
The scene played out, according to Falls Township Police, just before 5 p.m. on June 29 at the Wawa, located in the Morrisville section of Falls Township. Police responded to an armed subject report. Bucks County Radio advised officers that a woman with purple hair in a white Acura sedan with a partial plate of “4507”, pulled a gun on the complainant, causing him to flee the scene.
Officers Zachary Sherman and Daniel Matkowski arrived on scene and located the white 2021 Acura ILX, occupied by the subject, identified as Amanda Yantz, 41. She has bright purple/pink hair, and was seated in the driver’s seat, backed into a parking space. Officers ordered Yantz out of the Acura, who cooperated, and walked towards me, never shutting her driver’s door behind her. Yantz was asked if she had any weapons on her. She advised that a firearm was in the vehicle and she has a carry license. Police told Yantz she was being detained, placed her in handcuffs and patted her down for weapons. While patting her hooded sweatshirt front pouch, police felt a thin hard object. They removed it from her open front pouch, yielding a glass smoking device with residue known to law enforcement as a pipe used for smoking crack.
Police approached Amanda’s Acura, which was still running, had its driver door wide open, and ensured no-one else was in the vehicle, police said in court papers.
From outside the Acura, police observed a plastic capsule, commonly referred to as a “trash can”, known to hold crack cocaine, in the inside pocket of her driver’s door, the probable cause alleges.
The Acura was secured and towed to the Police Impound Lot, authorities said.
Responding officers called the victim, who explained he arrived at the Wawa in his truck, towing a landscaping trailer. As he needed air in his tire, he pulled aside the air pump, which Yantz was parked nearby. The victim greeted Yantz, according to police and informed her he would be momentarily blocking her in, as his truck and trailer took up several spaces due to its length. The victim said Yantz became confrontational and stated “I got something for you”, reached into her driver’s door, retrieved a handgun, and pointed it at him. The victim’s coworker/passenger immediately yelled and alerted him of this, and he ‘put the truck in drive and fled’. He described the firearm as a black “Glock” style handgun. When asked where Yantz retrieved the firearm from, the victim stated she reached into her driver seat area and pulled it out immediately, the probable cause alleges.
Officers researched Yantz via Bucks County Data for firearms and learned she has three firearms registered to her, including a Glock 45 bearing serial # “BSEY812”.
On Wednesday July 2, 2025 at approximately 3 p.m. a search warrant was executed for the Acura. In the driver’s interior door handle, police found two pink plastic capsules containing suspected crack cocaine. In the glove box, police located a Glock G45 9mm bearing serial number “BSEY812” and a Glock magazine containing ten 9mm rounds. On the front passenger floorboard, police discovered a blue pill bottle filled with two plastic wrapped pieces of white rocky substances deemed to be crack cocaine. In addition, police located a pink plastic capsule containing suspected crack cocaine. On the front passenger seat, police located a rainbow pouch with a glass smoking device with residue, tweezers, and copper cords, officers said in court paperwork.
Yates was charged by mail summons with misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, simple assault, and drug-related offenses. A court date has yet to be officially set, according to online court records.

The article states that Yantz “has three firearms registered to her.” But under 18 Pa. C.S. § 6111.4, no government or law enforcement agency in Pennsylvania is permitted to establish or maintain a registry of firearm ownership. So how does Yantz have firearms “registered” to her?
