A Sunday morning crash in Levittown involving an e-bike sent one man to the hospital, police say, for treatment of head trauma with investigators seeking more witnesses.

The crash occurred Sunday morning at approximately 10:00 a.m., Falls Township Police said, with officers responding to the intersection of Mill Creek Parkway and Levittown Parkway for a sedan v. e bike traffic accident.

Based on witness accounts and the preliminary investigation, a black sedan operated by a 27-year-old male from Levittown was traveling east on Mill Creek Parkway and had a steady green light.

The e-bike, operated by a 41-year-old male from Croydon, was traveling west on Mill Creek Parkway and reportedly weaving in and out of traffic, police said.

The black sedan traveled straight through the intersection and, according to witness accounts, the e-bike made an abrupt left turn from the left-turn lane in front of the sedan, after which they collided.

The rider of the e bike was transported to Jefferson Torresdale with a suspected head injury, police said.

The sedan’s driver and passenger remained on the scene and were uninjured,. Lt Chris Clark told Lower Bucks Source through email communications.

Alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency are not believed to be the cause of the crash, Clark said.

Anyone having witnessed the accident is asked to contact the investigator, P/O Michael Collins, at (215) 302-3314, or via email at m.collins@fallstwppd.com.  Falls Twp. authorities said.
