A Levittown man is in jail Tuesday morning after he assaulted a man at his ex girlfriends home and was found to be in possession of a unlicensed concealed weapon.

According to Falls Township police, at approximately 9:49 p.m. last Tuesday, a domestic dispute was reported in progress on the the 3000 block of Chandler Drive in Morrisville section of the township.  The caller reported her ex-boyfriend, later identified as Justin Fazekas, 40,  stole her iPhone valued at $1,300, while he was taking his belongings from her room, Outside the home, the two engaged in an argument. Fazekas was in his truck when the caller was looking for her phone. He told her he smashed it around the corner. There was no phone in her home and it was never returned to her, said police.

The next day, police returned to the residence for a report of a male on scene who was causing an issue.

Radio dispatchers reported hearing breaking glass and physical fighting. Upon arriving, the police saw Fazekas fighting with another man. Once police separated the two  Fazekas was placed in handcuffs. A bloody nose was among the minor injuries suffered by the other male. A black semiautomatic handgun was recovered at the scene of the fight. It was checked in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and found to be clear and registered to Fazekas. An empty gun holster was visible inside his truck. A check of the NCIC revealed that the concealed carry permit was revoked and the last update was on February 8th, according to the affidavit.

Prior to authorities arriving on scene, the two victims heard Fazekas’ truck pulling up. The male victim heard glass breaking while calling 911. While he was outside investigating, Fazekas came from behind the house and punched him in the face. The male victim punched back and held Fazekas on the ground until police arrived. When the female victim/caller was in her bedroom, she heard his truck, saw and heard the window break, said authorities.

During the arrest and arraignment process, Fazekas was charged with felony firearm possession without a license, as well as several misdemeanor charges related to the physical altercation, theft, and alleged damage to the phone. Since he was unable to post, bail was set at  10%/$100,000, he was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility (BCCF). His preliminary hearing is tentatively set for August 28 to appear in front of Judge John T. Galloway. He has no attorney of record, shown in court papers.
