Man Shot in Head, Killed in Apparent “Domestic Dispute” Police Say in Morrisville Borough

A 26 year old man was shot and killed in Morrisville Borough Thursday night in what Police say was a domestic dispute.

Chief of Police George McClay said  police were called around 8:45 p.m. to 20 Lenora Avenue for reports of a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and found a man in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest, McClay said.

The seriously wounded man was rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and later was pronounced dead, police said in release to the Morrisville Borough community.

Police identified the victim as Clifton Burgess, 26.

Police said multiple fired rounds were collected at the scene as well as multiple gunshot markings made on the SUV Burgess was found in.

No arrests have been announced as of Friday evening.
