Motorcycle Accident leads to Fatality, Cops Say

A local man died Thursday after he collided with a pole on his dirt bike in Falls Township.

Falls Township Police say Jeffrey Griscavage, 25, died after he collided with on Penn Valley Road just after 12 p.m.

Witnesses told police, Griscavage was riding his dirt bike west bound on the on the bicycle path which runs parallel to Penn Valley Rd, at about 20 m.p.h when for some unknown reason he crashed into a pole 1/4 mile west of Fallsington-Tullytown Road.

Officers were dispatched and found Griscavage on the ground pinned under the dirt bike. Officers performed life saving rescue efforts until personnel from the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad arrived on scene shortly after 12:20 p.m.

Griscavage was transported to Jefferson Bucks Hospital where shortly thereafter he was pronounced dead, police said.
