After the argument, the victim drove off heading towards Tyburn Road and noticed Owens got into a white Nissan Rogue. The victim further stated he was rear-ended at the E. Tyburn Rd. ramp by Owens who fled the scene. according to the probable cause.

A witness told the officer she was talking with Owens outside her trailer when the incident occurred. She explained how she knew him and where he lived, court records  show.

Owens was interviewed at his residence and admitted he was in an accident but that the other person slammed on their brakes causing the accident. He also said he did not flee the scene as his vehicle was towed to his work address. Owens said he did not call the police, because he was arrested every time he called the Falls Township Police Department.  Owens provided vehicle information and insurance approximately a week after the accident, shown in the affidavit.

Owens’ preliminary hearing is currently scheduled for August 20 and he is charged with two summary offenses.
