Police Investigating Attempted Luring of Pennsbury High School Student

Falls Township Police released additional information about the attempted child luring that took place blocks away from Pennsbury High School last week.

Police say the man is described as approached by an older heavy set white male with slicked back gray hair and a white goatee. He was wearing an olive green military style cap and black framed glasses. The male was operating an older model gray sedan with a possible damaged front driver’s side headlight.

Falls Township Chief of Police, Nelson Whitney said Monday the case is being investigated by Officer Ron MacPherson and if anyone has information to share he can be reached at his e-mail  R.Macpherson@fallstwppd.com

A letter sent out to parents of Pennsbury High School Students says a “luring” incident involving a man  demanding a female student get into his vehicle took place on Friday, of last week

According to the letter, posted by a family member of a student, says a white male, driving a silver 4 door sedan approached her on Queen Anne Boulevard, between S. Olds and Trenton Road, and offered her a ride. When she ignored him, the driver started demanding that she get in the car.

Pennsbury students on the other side of the road, intervened, then the car drove off. The incident took place at approximately 2:30 pm, school officials said.

The Falls Township police have been notified and are investigating. If you have information related to this attempted luring, please contact the Falls Township Police Department.

“We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the students who intervened and the student involved for telling the high school administration what happened. Please remind your children to call 911 and/or tell a trusted adult if anything similar happens to them” the letter says,
