Trenton Man Charged for Slapping Woman in the Face, Fighting with Victims Daughter

A Trenton man was charged  for a July 3 fight at a Falls Township apartment complex in which he is accused of hitting his girlfriend in the face then fighting with the victim’s daughter after she tried to force him out of the apartment.

Booker T. Robinson,Jr. 63 of Trenton, New Jersey  was charged with simple assault and harassment connected to a domestic fight that occurred last Friday.

According to Falls Police, they were dispatched to Newport Village Apartments for a report of a domestic disturbance. 

Upon arrival police met with Robinson on the ground floor entryway. 

Robinson told responding officers he had been attacked by his finance and her daughter.  

Officers made contact with the female victim who stated that Mr. Robinson hit her in the face during an argument. 

Officers observed fresh swelling and bruising on her cheekbone area.  

The victim told officers she had contacted her daughter after she was hit by Robinson. 

According to police the  victims daughter arrived at the apartment and attempted to force Robinson out,but the confrontation  got physical and eventually Robinson made it outside and the fighting commenced.

Robinson was arraigned before District Justice Daniel Baranoski and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured and he was released on his own recognizance.   Bail terms were no contact with the victim or her residence.

He is scheduled to answer to the charges on July 21 in Falls Township District Court.
