Truck Pulls Down Power Lines on Trenton Rd in Fairless Hills

A PECO power line was pulled down by a truck Wednesday afternoon causing a small power outage and traffic backups on the 900 block of  Trenton Road in the Fairless Hills section of Falls Township. 

Local First Responders  were on scene with PECO crews around 2:30 p.m. blocking off Trenton Rd. to motorists in both directions. 

A PECO spokesperson said power should be restored shortly as crews are working to clear the downed lines as the road remains shut down between Arleans Ave and Pennsylvania Road

According to PECO one to two customers have been impacted by the incident.
