Two Vehicle Accident Sends One Person to Hospital, Takes Out Pole

A Thursday morning two vehicle accident in Falls Township sent one person to the hospital with facial injuries.

Falls Township Lieutenant Clark said, one vehicle pulled out from 225 Lincoln Highway into the path of an oncoming vehicle causing them to collide. Due to the collision, one vehicle struck a telephone pole causing significant damage to same. One person was transported to Capital Health after sustaining facial injuries.

Traffic was restricted to one lane for about forty-five minutes, Clark said.

Drugs, alcohol, or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in causation, said Clark.
