Two Women, Two Separate Incidents, Two Arrests

Over the weekend Falls Township Police charged two separate women with assault in two unconnected incidents.

In the first of the incidents reported police responded to the Rocks Springs Apartments last Friday evening and met with individual who told police they were attacked by Nicole Ashton, 27 in a dispute over rental payment.

The victim told police, they were punched in the head several times suffering minor injuries.

Ashton of Levittown,  police say, left the scene of the incident prior to their arrival but was later located in the North Park section of the township and charged.

She was arraigned and released on unsecured bail with a hearing scheduled for June 16.

In the second and unrelated incident, Chelsi Jones, 24, of Morrisville is charged with simple assault and harassment alleged to have attacked her victim in the area of the 9400 block of Tyburn Road.

Jones was taken into custody, arraigned and released on unsecured bail.

No additional information was provided about the incident.

Jones, according to court records, is tentatively scheduled to appear in district court on June 15 to answer to her charges.
