Langhorne Borough Mayor, Chief of Police Announce Monthly Office Hours As Part of Community Engagement Effort

The Langhorne Borough Mayor and Chief of Police will hold office hour beginning this month in a community engagement effort, officials announced Thursday.

Beginning this month, Police Chief Kevin Burns and Mayor Barry Truchil will hold monthly office hours at Borough Hall, providing residents and local businesses with an opportunity to share questions, ideas, and concerns, the two announced in a joint statement.

“These informal conversations are designed to encourage open, respectful dialogue and strengthen communication and cooperation between our police department, the Mayor, and the community,” the announcement said.

This month’s office hours will be held Tuesday, September 15 from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Both officials are encouraging residents to come share their thoughts and feedback in order to work together toward meaningful solutions for the Langhorne Borough  community.

“Please help us keep conversations respectful, constructive, and focused on finding solutions” the Mayor and Chief of Police said.

The specific days and hours will vary month to month and will be announced through Savvy Citizen, the Borough’s text notification app, as well as the Borough website and Facebook page.
