Edgewood Rd in Lower Makefield Township will be detoured in the area of the railroad tracks between Schuyler Drive and Mill Road officials announced on Tuesday.
Installation of traffic circles will be installed at Edgewood Road at Schuyler Drive beginning Friday and at Edgewood Road and Mill Road beginning August 10, 2021, officials said in a press release.

Dates of closure are approximate and dependent on weather and other unforeseen events.
Depending on your location and direction of travel you may use either the purple or red route to access areas east and west of Edgewood Road.
The orange route remains the current detour for the Sandy Run/Fairway/Reading residents. Residents will continue to have access to their property and the businesses near the closings. Additional details on the official reopening of Sandy Run Rd at Edgewood will be forthcoming. Access to the Municipal Complex shall be taken from the Oxford Valley Road (east) side of the project throughout the duration of construction.
