LMPD: Community Center Open for Residents During Excessive Heat Conditions

Due to the excessive heat expected to last until Wednesday evening June 30, 2021 with dangerously hot conditions and the heat index up to 105 degrees,  the Lower Makefield Community Center will be available to our residents between the hours of 9am to 8pm.

Residents needing to use the Community Center should contact our Lower Makefield Police Department at 215-493-4055. T

hose with special needs, the elderly, or persons without the ability to remain comfortable during this heat emergency should notify the Police for assistance.

In an emergency call 9-1-1. Please notify us of any elderly individual that may be in need. Officers will visit them to ensure their safety. Lower Makefield Township Emergency Management
