Cops: Stolen U-Haul Flees Police

A man operating a stolen vehicle from Arizona is being sought by police.

According to a press release from the Lower Makefield Police Department, the suspect (with several arm and neck tattoos) depicted was located by patrol nits in a stolen a 2021 White Chevy Silverado U-Haul bearing Arizona Plate AL42352 in the CVS parking lot located at 101 Oxford Valley Road Yardley, PA 19067 at 9:45 a.m Thursday.

The suspect and his passenger were contacted by police but fled at a high rate of speed toward Route 1 south and 295-West where the police pursuit was terminated for safety reasons, police said.

Further investigation revealed the suspect entered the CVS and made a small cash purchase, according to a press release.

Police suspect  the driver and passenger are possibly involved with thefts from construction sites in Philadelphia as they observed  a large amount of PVC piping sticking out from the back of the reportedly stolen truck
