Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports – Aug 21 2026 to Aug 25 2026

8/25/26
Fraud:

100 block of Jay Dr. reported at 9:35 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) transferred $34,000.00 from their home equity account to their checking account, then transferred it to a Truist bank account in someone else’s name. Investigation ongoing.

6500 block of Spruce Mill Dr. reported at 12:18 p.m. Complainant reported two unauthorized withdrawls from their bank account in the amount of $210.12. Investigation ongoing.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 14000 block of Cornerstone Dr. reported at 3:01 p.m. Police responded to the report of a stolen vehicle pinging in the area. A Toyota Camry stolen out of Philadelphia was recovered.

Traffic Offense Arrest – Quarry Rd. & Lindenhurst Rd. reported at 11:35 a.m. Police on patrol attempted to stop a motorcycle for violations. The motorcycle fled upon observing police. Further investigation led to the identity of the 19 year old male driver from Holland, PA. The male admitted to fleeing and was taken into police custody for Fleeing & Eluding, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, and related charges.

Theft – 5500 block of Spruce Mill Dr. reported at 12:35 p.m. Complainant reported multiple checks totaling $3,000.00 were written out to a known person without their authorization. Investigation ongoing.

Attempted Thefts from Vehicle:

1100 block of Irving Rd. reported at 8:02 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) were captured on their surveillance camera attempting to enter unlocked vehicles in the area. Nothing reported missing at this time.

100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 9:30 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicles and rummaged through them. Nothing reported missing at this time.

100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 9:03 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing reported missing at this time.

100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 9:16 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing reported missing at this time.

100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 9:23 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. They attempted to open a second vehicle, but were unable to gain entry to do it being locked. Nothing reported missing at this time.

100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 9:29 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing reported missing at this time.

Thefts from Vehicle:
1000 block of Country Hills Rd. reported at 8:18 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a bag with miscellaneous items in it. Incident caught on surveillance camera.

100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 8:53 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed loose keys and a bag of change. The items were later located on a neighbor’s property line.

Traffic Arrest – Big Oak Rd. & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 9:29 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 47 year old male driver from Morrisville, PA for Operating Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock. He was taken into police custody.
