Lower Makefield Police Reports: Burglar Makes Off with $7 K in Loot, Safe with $3000.00 in it Stolen

Lower Makefield Police Reports September 15 to September 20, 2023

September 20th

ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 2:17 PM. Complainant reported a male was concealing merchandise in the store. Upon police arrival, the male discarded the items and left the store. Loss Prevention declined to press charges.

September 19th

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 1000 block of Big Oak Rd. reported at 10:07AM. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet.

THEFT – 500 block of Wren Song Rd. reported at 9:30PM. Complainant reported theft of safe containing $3,000.00 from the residence.

September 18th

IDENTITY THEFT – Unit block of South Dr. reported at 1:02PM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a T-Mobile account in their name and charged $3,501.00.

September 17th

DUI ARREST – 200 block of Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 7:30PM. Police on patrol observed a disabled vehicle at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 52 year old male driver from Philadelphia, PA for Driving Under the Influence.

September 15th

THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Carlucci’s Restaurant reported at 6:33PM. Complainant reported three unknown individuals dined in the outdoor seating area and left without paying their $136.74 bill. Investigation ongoing.

BURGLARY –800 block of Henry Dr. reported at 7:00PM. Police responded to the report of a burglary at the location. Further investigation revealed the home’s alarm panel was ripped off the wall and forced entry via a rear window. Victims reported $1,000 in $2, several handbags, and $7,000 of cash missing. Investigation ongoing.
