Lower Makefield Township Police Crime Reports March 22 – 27, 2024

3/27/2024 – Fraud – Unit block of Lavender Dr. reported at 1:56 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it. 

3/27/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 1300 block of Pepperbush Ct. reported at 4:12 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) slashed their vehicle’s tire and removed the wiper blades.

3/26/2024 – Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegman’s reported at 9:44 p.m. Loss Prevention reported an unknown male attempted to leave the store without paying for $646.42 worth of merchandise. 

3/25/2024 – Theft – 1200 block of Buchanan Way reported at 11:33 a.m. Complainant reported receiving a call from who they believed to be an employee from Zelle. During the course of the conversation, the victim followed instructions of the caller and lost $2,499.87. 

3/24/2024 – Attempted Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegman’s reported at 7:29 p.m. Loss Prevention reported an unknown male attempted to leave the store without paying for 16 cans of baby formula. 

3/22/2024 – Fraud – 1400 block of Innis Ln. reported at 9:15 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their money market savings account to create a check for $8,900.00.
