Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports – August 3, 2024 – August 7, 2024

8/7/2024 – DUI Arrest – Quarry Rd. & Silver Stream Dr. reported at 3:13 p.m. While assisting at an accident scene, police could smell a heavy odor of marijuana emanating from a passing vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and further investigation led to the arrest of the 37 year old male from Sellersville, PA for Driving Under the Influence.

8/7/2024 – Theft – 1500 block of Silo Rd. reported at 7:03 p.m. Complainant reported theft of Amazon package.

8/6/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 1600 block of Quarry Rd. reported at 5:44 p.m. Complainant reported their rental vehicle was keyed by an unknown person.

8/5/2024 – Fraud – 1400 block of Pheasant Run Cir. reported at 10:34 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used $6,000 worth of their airline miles to book an international flight.

8/4/2024 – Drug Arrest – 1700 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 7:39 p.m. Police responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle at the location. Further investigation led to the discovery of several wax packets containing powdery substances and needles. The 35 year old male from Yardley Borough was taken into police custody and charged with Possession of heroin/fentanyl and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A records check revealed the male was wanted out of Bucks County for probation violation and Philadelphia for dangerous drugs. He was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriffs.

8/3/2024 – Motor Vehicle Theft – 200 block of Marlboro Rd. reported at 7:29 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked 2021 Volvo XC9, started it with the key fob inside, and stole it. The vehicle was later recovered in South Brunswick, NJ. Investigation ongoing.

8/3/2024 -Theft – 1700 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 6:08 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) removed an unsecured mini dirt bike from the community bike rack. The complainant reported another motor bike was stolen in the same fashion in July.
