Lower Makefield Police Reports May 4, 2024 – May 8, 2024

5/8/2024 – Accident and DUI Arrest – River Rd. & Black Rock Rd. reported at 5:07 p.m. Police responded to the report of a two vehicle accident with a tree on one of the vehicle’s and entrapment. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 23-year-old driver from Trenton, NJ for Driving Under the Influence.

5/8/2024 – Solicitors – Kathy Dr. & River Rd. reported at 5:45 p.m. Complainant reported solicitors for Major Energy soliciting in the area without a permit. They were advised to cease soliciting until permits were obtained.

5/7/2024 – Fraud – 200 block S. Flint Ct. reported at 11:40 a.m. Complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. Check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. Investigation ongoing.

5/7/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 1300 block of Big Oak Rd. at Five Mile Woods reported at 9:50 a.m. Complainant reported a broken window on the meeting room property.

5/7/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – 1900 block of Woodside Rd. at the Garden of Reflection reported at 1:24 p.m. Complainant reported while playing pickleball, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed two wallets and an iPhone.

5/7/2024 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Norman’s Hallmark Shop reported at 2:50 p.m. Employee reported a known female entered the store and removed $561.80 worth of merchandise without paying and fled the store. The vehicle was located by Newtown Police on Durham Rd. The 44-year-old female from Newtown, PA was taken into police custody for Retail Theft.

5/6/2024 – Fraud – 1000 block of S. Kimbles Dr. reported at 10:45 a.m. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from who they believed to be Wells Fargo, advising them that there was fraud on their account. They were advised to withdraw $17,000 and deposit it into an ATM with a new account number, which they did.

5/6/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – 500 block of S. Dove Rd. reported at 1:52 p.m. Complainant reported sometime over the past two weeks, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed two gift cards.

5/4/2024 – DUI Arrest – 1600 block of Bluebird Dr. reported at 11:32 p.m. While responding to the report for assistance retrieving property, police suspected the female was under the influence. She admitted to smoking marijuana prior to arriving at the location. The 53-year-old female driver from Langhorne, PA was taken into police custody for Driving Under the Influence.
