Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports: Close to $15,000 Lost to Theft and Fraud In Separate Incidents

Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports – Jan 24, 2025 – Jan 27, 2025

1/27/2025 – Theft – 6200 Block of Spruce Mill Dr. at 11:35 a.m. Complainant states they lost their credit card, and it was used at an unknown Sams Club in the amount of $1,858.58. The bank was notified and reimbursed the complainant.

1/25/2025 – Fraud – 600 Block of Palmer Lane at 1:17 p.m. Complainant reports that unknown persons used their credit card for an online purchase of $558.32. Bank was notified of disputed charge.

1/24/2025 – Fraud – 300 Block of Oxford Valley Rd. at 2:25 p.m. Complainant reports that two checks were removed from their mailbox and re-written by two unknown individuals totaling $12,021.49. Reported to bank and bank to reimburse complainant.

1/24/2025 – Fraud – 500 Block of Cedar Hollow Dr. at 11:34 a.m. Complainant reports that unknown person transferred $244 from their Insta-pay account to an unknown cash app account without their permission. Complainant reported to their bank.

1/24/2025 – Theft – 1500 Block of Dolington Rd. at 10:31 a.m.  Complainant reports corresponded with a company they found online that sells custom home bar kits. They sent the company a deposit of $727.00 and signed a contract.   The company was supposed to email pictures of the progression of the bar. The complainant hasn’t received any pictures of the bar progression. Under investigation.
