7/17/2024 – Fraud – 1600 block of Barnswallow Rd. reported at 3:30 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) hacked their phone in order to withdraw $11,000.00 from their bank accounts and used the money on betting sites.
7/17/2024 – Fraud – 600 block of Stony Hill Rd. reported at 10:00 a.m. Complainant reported installing commercial equipment for a business and received three worthless checks.
7/17/2024 – Fraud – 700 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Giant Food Store reported at 12:21 p.m. Loss Prevention reported on 7/16, two unknown males attempted to complete a wire transfer for $2,900.00. While performing this transaction, one of the males was distracting the employee by trying to purchase a drink. The employee realized the money was short. The suspects then advised the employee to count again and were moving money around while counting and taking more from the pile. Investigation ongoing.
7/17/2024 – Retail Theft – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. at CVS reported at 12:02 p.m. Manager reported that on 7/2, a known male entered the store and removed $74.47 worth of merchandise without paying. On 7/17, he removed $50.27 worth of merchandise without paying. The 78 year old male from Morrisville, PA to be charged with Retail Theft.
7/16/2024 – Solicitors – 1000 block of Edgewood Rd. at the LMT Pool reported at 2:42 p.m. Complainant reported Mister Softee soliciting in the parking lot without a permit. He was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.
7/16/24 – Aggravated Assault on Police Arrest – 1100 block of Edgewood Rd. at Stoddard Field reported at 10:29 p.m. Police on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle at the location. The vehicle fled the scene when police attempted to approach for investigation. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, which disregarded all law enforcement commands and traffic laws, nearly striking two police vehicles. The registration of the vehicle showed the owner, 19 year old male driver, lived on the 1400 block of Woodview Rd. Police followed the vehicle to the residence, where the driver got out and attempted to go into the residence. He continued to ignore police commands to stop and was tased. The male continued to refuse to comply and struck an officer in the face multiple times. He was eventually taken into police custody. He was charged with Aggravated Assault, Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting Arrest and traffic related charges. He was arraigned by District Justice Marriott and sent to BCCF in lieu of $30,000/10% bail.
7/15/2024 – Motor Vehicle Theft – 700 block of Ardsley Rd. reported at 12:46AM. Complainant reported theft of their 2020 Mazda 6.
7/15/2024 – Attempted Theft From Vehicle – 700 block of Ardsley Rd. reported at 9:23 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing reported missing at this time.
7/14/2024 – Credit Card Fraud – Unit block of Plymouth Ln. reported at 1:56 p.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $12,000.00. Investigation ongoing.
7/13/2024 – Theft from Vehicle – 300 block of W. Ferry Rd. reported at 1:32 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $30.00 worth of items.
7/13/2024 – Theft from Vehicle – 200 block of Forrest Rd. reported at 7:28 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $2,500.00 worth of items.
7/13/24 – Wanted Person– Big Oak Rd. & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 11:39 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a wanted person out of Bucks County. The 45 year old male from Trenton, NJ was taken into police custody.
7/13/24 – Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 7:40 p.m. Police were assisting NJSP with apprehending suspects in an armed carjacking in NJ. The suspect vehicle crashed in the area and fled on foot. Two juveniles were taken into police custody and an arrest warrant was issued for a 20 year old male from Irvington, NJ. Investigation ongoing.
7/12/2024 – Theft – 600 block of Stony Hill Rd. reported at 7:49 a.m. Complainant reported theft of $540.00 from their account.
7/12/2024 – Fraud – 1600 block of Heller Dr. reported at 9:45 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) altered an old check and withdrew $52,129.00 from their account.
7/12/2024 – Fraud – 500 block of Cedar Hollow Dr. reported at 4:42 p.m. Complainant reported unauthorized transactions on their bank account in the amount of $960.00.
7/12/2024 – Motor Vehicle Theft – 1600 block of Covington Rd. reported at 10:13 p.m. Complainant reported theft of their 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
7/12/2024 – Solicitors – 1600 block of Lakeview Cir. reported at 1:34 p.m. Complainant reported solicitors for Direct Energy soliciting without permits. They were advised to cease soliciting until permits were obtained.
7/11/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – Unit block of Wendover Rd. reported at 7:32 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $150.00 worth of items. An Acura key that did not belong to the victim was left in their vehicle.
7/11/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – Unit block of Glen Dr. reported at 7:32 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Unknown if anything was removed at this time.
