Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports – August 24, 2024 – August 29, 2024
8/29/2024 – Fraud – 1500 block of Makefield Rd. reported at 11:40 a.m.. Complainant reported hiring Choice Remodeling and Restoration to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hailstorm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them, and the business office is vacant. Investigation ongoing.
8/29/2024 – Fraud – 1100 block of Kenneth Ln. reported at 5 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it.
8/28/2024 – Burglary – 400 block of Schindler Dr. reported at 9:12 a.m.. Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle at the location. Investigation revealed suspects entered an open garage and stole packages before fleeing the area. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Hamilton, NJ.
8/28/2024 – Identity Theft – 800 block of Big Oak Rd. reported at 2:35 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a bank account in their name.
8/27/2024 – Drug Arrest – Covington Rd. & Aspen Woods Dr. reported at 11:15 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 56 year old female driver from Levittown, PA for False ID to Law Enforcement, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and related charges. A records check revealed she had an active bench warrant for a probation violation out of Bucks County. The 55 year old female passenger from Feasterville-Trevose, PA was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine. They were taken into police custody.
8/26/2024 – Identity Theft – 500 block of Delvale Rd. reported at 12:32 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a credit card in their name.
8/25/2024 – Theft – 600 block of Floral Vale Blvd. reported at 9:32 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) forced open the mailbox and stole all the mail.
8/25/2024 – Identity Theft – 300 block of Saly Rd. reported at 4:03PM. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $3,178.94.
8/24/2024 – Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 9:36 p.m. Police on patrol received an LPR alert for a stolen NJ tag on a vehicle. A felony traffic stop was conducted and the 33 year old male driver from Newark, NJ was taken into police custody.
