Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports – Sept 12 2025 – Sept 18 2025

9/18/2025
Theft – 1700 block of Langhorne-Yardley Rd. at Edelman Wealth Management change reported at 9:02 a.m. Complainant reported receiving what they believed to be an email from a known supplier asking for payment in the amount of $24,077.21. After sending payment, the complainant realized this came from a spoofed email.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 100 block of Aspen Rd. reported at 10:54 a.m. Complainant reported sometime between 9/14-9/18, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing reported missing at this time.

Possession of Firearm Arrest – Rt. 1 South & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 3:55 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the registered owner was wanted out of NJ for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. A search of the vehicle produced counterfeit currency and a firearm, which the male was prohibited from owning due to being a convicted felon. A search of the firearm revealed it to be in stolen status. The 44 year old male from Philadelphia, PA was taken into police custody. He was charged with Possession of a Firearm and related charges. He was arraigned and sent to BCCF in lieu of $100,000/10%.

Motor Vehicle Theft – 2300 block of Waterford Rd. reported at 9:00 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed the 2019 Lexis IS350 from the driveway. The vehicle was later recovered in Trenton, NJ.

9/16/2025
Credit Card Fraud – 1300 block of Brentwood Rd. reported at 8:13 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) has been using their Costco credit card in Colorado since 2022 totaling $14,200 in unauthorized charges.

Theft – 18000 block of Cornerstone Dr. reported at 3:37 p.m. Complainant reported being a possible victim of fraud via a Craigslist listing for an apartment.

9/15/2025
Theft – 300 block of Dunhill Way reported at 2:54 p.m. Complainant reported theft of FedEx package delivered on 9/10.

Retail Theft – 900 block of Taylor Ln. at CVS reported at 3:36 p.m. Store Manager reported an unknown male entered the store on 9/10 and removed $586.47 worth of merchandise without paying.

Retail Theft – 900 block of Taylor Ln. at CVS reported at 3:36 p.m. Store Manager reported two unknown males entered the store and removed $297.69 worth of merchandise without paying.

Theft Arrest Update – 700 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Giant on 9/9/25, reported at 1:02 p.m. Employee reported an unknown male used 22 counterfeit bills to make a purchase of $419.01. Investigation ongoing. ***UPDATE***: A 19 year old male from Trenton, NJ was identified as the suspect in this case. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
