Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports – August 31, 2024 – September 4, 2024

 

9/4/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – 500 block of Keswick Dr. reported at 9:37 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $1,200.00 worth of power tools. 

9/4/2024 – Fraud – 1900 block of Berrel Ct. reported at 5:05 p.m. Complainant reported $4,800.00 was pending to be withdrawn from their bank account that they did not authorize. 

9/3/2024 – Motor Vehicle Theft – 300 block of Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 8:29 a.m. Complainant reported theft of Norstar Dump Trailer sometime between 8/30-9/3. 

9/3/2024 – Theft – 1300 block of Pepperbush Ct. reported at 6:22 p.m. Complainant reported theft of recycling bin. 

9/3/2024 – Theft – 600 block of River Rd. reported at 7:40 p.m. Complainant reported theft of canoe and paddles. 

9/3/2024 – Public Drunkenness – 1600 block of Bluebird Dr. reported at 6:39 p.m.. Police responded to the report of an intoxicated woman walking with children and a wheelchair. Further investigation led to the 54 year old female from LMT being cited for Public Drunkenness. 

9/1/2024 – Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 3:20 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft on 8/28. An unknown male removed $1,846.48 worth of OTC medicine without paying. The male subject committed similar thefts at eleven other Wegmans, resulting in a loss of $20,092.40. Investigation ongoing. 

8/31/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – 600 block of River Rd. reported at 8:10 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed credit cards, $35 USC, and their registration card. 

8/31/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 9:45 a.m. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft in progress. Manager reported a male drank a container of orange juice without paying for it and damaged lobsters on display. The 23 year old male from Malvern, PA was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief. 

8/31/2024 – DUI Arrest – 600 block of Stony Hill Rd. reported at 11:39 a.m. Police responded to the report of a reckless driver. Further investigation led to the 36 year old female driver from LMT for Driving Under the Influence. 

8/31/2024 – Wanted Person – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. reported at 9:08 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the 59 year old male driver from Trenton, NJ was wanted for dangerous drugs out of Philadelphia. He was taken into police custody.

8/30/2024 – Retail Theft – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. at CVS reported at 10:49 a.m. Police responded to a retail theft in progress at the location. Further investigation led to the 62 year old male from Philadelphia, PA for taking $138.44 worth of merchandise without paying. 

8/30/2024 – Theft – 1100 block of University Dr. reported at 12:19 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it.
