Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports – Feb 27, 2025 – March 13, 2025

3/13/2025 – Fraud – 700 block of Bushell Ln. reported at 12:35 p.m. Complainant reported purchasing $21,200.00 worth of Bitcoin from a fraudulent website.

3/13/2025 – Identity Theft – 1200 block of Linden Ave. reported at 1:25 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) may have received an economic injury disaster loan in their name during COVID.

3/12/2025 – Theft – 600 block of Washington Crossing Rd. reported at 3:31 p.m. Complainant reported theft of refrigerator from outside the residence. Incident was captured on surveillance video. Investigation ongoing.

3/11/2025 – Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 1:35 p.m. Loss Prevention reported an unknown male removed $263.32 worth of merchandise on 3/8 without paying. Investigation ongoing.

3/11/2025 – Fraud – 1400 block of Judith Pl. reported at 4:04 p.m. Complainant reported receiving an email that appeared to be from PayPal advising them that they purchased $728.59 in Bitcoin. They recognized this as a scam.

3/10/2025 – Fraud – 100 block of Mountain Oaks Rd. reported at 11:45 a.m. Complainant reported paying $2,187.93 via credit card after being told they were facing felony charges for bouncing a check.

3/8/2025 – Wanted Person – 300 block of Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 12:22 a.m. Police responded to the report to check the wellbeing of an individual who appeared intoxicated and stated they were lost. A records check revealed the 40 year old male from Levittown, PA was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriffs. He was taken into police custody.

3/7/2025 – Credit Card Fraud – 1600 block of Manion Way reported at 11:29 a.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $595.00.

3/3/2025 – Theft – 1300 Block of Heller Dr. at 2:51 p.m. Complainant reports that a large sum of money was removed from a check cash that she did not authorize. The bank offered a copy of a check, but it is not complainant’s signature. Monetary loss of $1,581.13

3/3/2025 – Theft – 1600 Block of Big Oak Rd. at 2:17 p.m. Complainant reports that 2 unknown males loaded a shopping cart full of items and left Kohls store without paying for them. Estimated loss of approximately $1,000. Under investigation.

2/28/2025 – Theft – Unit Block of N Manor Lane at 1:13 p.m. Complainant reports that they received a phone call telling them that their power was going to be shut off and that they needed to pay $800. The complainant then proceeded to pay the $800 through a kiosk. They were then told to do the same thing but for $400, which they did not do. Complainant then reached out to PECO and they confirmed that it was a scam.
