Lower Makefield Township Police Reports – August 16, 2024 – August 22, 2024

 

8/22/2024 – Theft – 1500 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 9:16 p.m. Complainant reported unknown male jumped the maintenance fence and stole a 6ft ladder. Incident caught on surveillance. Investigation ongoing. 

8/21/2024 – Identity Theft – 1700 block of Grandview Dr. reported at 12:26 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their information to access their bank account and removed $10,000.00. 

8/20/2024 – Identity Theft – 1700 block of Grandview Dr. reported at 1:05 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) stole their identity. 

8/20/2024 – Theft – 1400 block of Wheatsheaf Rd. reported at 4:00 p.m. Complainant reported stole a check from their mailbox, altered it, and cashed it. 

8/19/2024 – Fraud – 900 block of Greenway Ave. reported at 7:23 p.m. Complainant reported sending an unknown person $350 for a Penn State Football season pass but never received the ticket. 

8/18/2024 – Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 11:36 a.m. Police on patrol received an LPR alert for a stolen vehicle. A felony car stop was conducted and the 53-year-old male from Trenton, NJ was taken into police custody for Receiving Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of  a Motor Vehicle. He was arraigned by District Justice Peranteau and released on $30,000 unsecured bail. 

8/18/2024 – Theft – 1400 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 11:46 a.m. Complainant reported theft of package from front porch. 

8/17/2024 – Accident & DUI Arrest – Washington Crossing Rd. & Stoopville Rd. reported at 3:52 p.m. Police responded to the report of a two vehicle accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 44-year old female from Newtown, PA for Driving Under the Influence. 

8/16/2024 – Fraud – 2700 block of Lynbrooke Dr. reported at 10:30 a.m. Complainant reported someone claiming to be a Special Agent with the FTC called them about an Amazon order. The victim stated they did not make a purchase. They were advised to withdraw $25,000.00 from their bank, put it in a box, and provide it to someone who would be coming to their house to resolve the issue. An unknown male came to the house and the box of money was handed to him. Investigation ongoing. 

8/16/2024 – Accident & DUI Arrest – 1000 block of Stony Hill Rd. reported at 12:03 p.m. Police responded to the report of a vehicle that went into oncoming traffic, hit a curb, went onto the grass, then reentered the roadway and pulled into the Hampton Inn parking lot. Police arrived at the Hampton Inn and found a male passed out in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, which also had two flat tires. While attempting to wake the driver, police observed a plastic baggie with wax paper in the vehicle. He was removed from the vehicle and a search of her person yielded drug paraphernalia and heroin. The 30-year-old male from Philadelphia, PA was taken into police custody for Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia, Reckless Driving and related charges. 

8/16/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 200 block of Aspen Rd. reported at 1:23 p.m. Complainant reported their Ring camera captured a neighbor damaging their lawn sign. The 23-year-old male from LMT to be cited for Criminal Mischief.
