New Information on Suspicious Fire-Death at St. Ignatius Cemetery

The investigation, by Lower Makefield Police,  into the suspicious vehicle fire and a person’s death at St Ignatius Cemetery earlier this month has yielded a new piece of information.

The owner of the vehicle involved in the suspicious fire on Wednesday night, April 3, 2024 is now known by authorities.  They also know the car is registered  locally and was not reported stolen, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

The deceased is a man, although he has not been able to be identified at this time.

Lower Bucks Source contacted Lower Makefield Deputy Police Chief Bob Lewis Wednesday, seeking additional information. The communication was not immediately returned.

The Bucks County Coroner’s office has yet to rule on cause and manner of death as of press time.
