Woman Employee Charged for Stealing about $900 from Rite Aide

A West Virginia woman employed at Lower Makefield Rite Aid was arrested and charged for theft police say.

According to Lower Makefield Police, a manager of the pharmacy retail store reported to police that an employee had stolen over $880.00. from its Heacock Road location.

Police say Katherine Hill, 27 of West Virginia would take receipt copies from previous customers purchases and the process those transactions as returns, pocketing the ill gotten funds,

Hill was taken into custody and charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

She was arraigned by District Justice Armitage and released on $25,000.00 unsecured bail and scheduled to appear in district court on June 29 to answer to the charges.
