A 35 year-old Southampton man was arrested and charged earlier this month for fleeing police, reckless driving, and related traffic offenses offenses after a brief hot pursuit by officers from two municipal police departments.
On Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 11:36 p.m., Middletown Township Police officer was on patrol and heard dispatch from the Bucks County Radio Room that Newtown Township Police had attempted to stop a white Hyundai with a PA registration, however, it failed to stop and fled southbound on Woodbourne Rd from the Newtown Bypass, police said in court papers.
A short time later, while in the area of The Lawn Barn, 910 Woodbourne Road In Langhorne, officers saw a white sedan traveling southbound on Woodbourne Road from the intersection with Wood Lane, police said.
Upon seeing the patrol vehicle, the operator stopped the vehicle in the travel lane. He then put the vehicle in reverse and was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. As police approached the vehicle, the operator, later identified as Keenen Russell, changed direction and traveled southbound on Woodbourne Road at speeds exceeding 100mph, according to police.
This created a large distance between himself and officers.

A short while later, police located Russell in the vehicle that was now parked at 48 Cotton Road.
Russell, now attempted to flee on foot into the residence before surrendering.
Russell had a buprenorphine/Naloxone film in his possession, police said.
Russell was further found to have an revoked driver’s license, and could not provide insurance records for the vehicle.
