Business U.S.1 Scene of Friday Late Afternoon Two Vehicle Accident

U.S.1 southbound in Middletown Township was the scene of a late afternoon accident delaying rush hour traffic, Friday.

A two vehicle accident involving a mini-van occurred close to 4 p.m. Friday, July 26. Middletown Police were talking with two women on the side of business U.S.1.  Traffic was slowed due to the accident.

The accident happened on the southbound side near the Acura Dealership and TD bank. Traffic coming out of Falls Township into Middletown was starting to back up at the time.

One of the vehicles was a red mini-van and the accident caused both airbags to deploy.

There were no known injuries at the time of publication.
