Middletown Twp Police Investigating Motorcycle Crash

Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred last Friday on southbound Route 1 Superhighway at westbound I-295 in Langhorne where the operator was injured.

Middletown Township Police said, at approximately 10:28 p.m., on August 30, police responded to the scene for a report of a motorcycle lying on the shoulder. Upon arrival, officers found a heavily damaged Suzuki motorcycle lying in the grass shoulder, closest to the on-ramp to westbound I-295, with evidence of a crash. In the course of investigating the crash,  police said, the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Route 1 Superhighway. As the motorcycle crossed into the exit lane for westbound I-295, it struck the ground, slid approximately 75 feet, and exited the roadway. After being located at an area hospital, the motorcycle operator is cooperating with police.
