A 20-year-old Trenton man is heading to trial accused of exposing himself at a local discount store in Morrisville Borough.

District Court Judge Corryn L. Kronnagel ruled there was enough evidence presented by the Commonwealth to hold over two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and a single misdemeanor disorderly conduct count at the April 29th preliminary hearing for Jashamil Watson.

According to court records, on Thursday, April 24th at approximately 1 p.m. Morrisville Borough Police were dispatched to the Dollar Tree located on Trenton Ave. in Morrisville for a report of a black male wearing black clothing exposing himself to other customers.

Upon arrival, police made contact with a female who pointed out the suspect who was now walking through the parking lot. The male was detained pending the investigation. The female victim informed police that the male, later identified as Watson, had exposed himself and rubbed his penis on her, police wrote in court papers.

Watson was informed that he was under arrest at this time, police said.

Watson was placed in the rear of my marked patrol vehicle at this point and police observed his pants zipper down.

A verbal and written statement were obtained from the female at the scene.

Watson was taken back to police headquarters where he was read his Miranda Rights and agreed to speak with police. During the interview Watson admitted that his penis was exposed while inside Dollar Tree. His penis probably rubbed against the victim as he walked past her, the probable cause alleges.

Watson’s next court date is May 30 where he is scheduled to appear for formal arraignment. He currently remains at Bucks County Jail on 10 percent of $1o,000.00 bail.
