Morrisville Cop Reports: Burglary, Warrant Arrests and More

Burglary – 2/5/20 @ 13:53 – Report of break-in while owner was not home on 500 block of W. Bridge Street. Upon returning home, owner found backdoor and window open.  The bedroom was rummaged through and safe was found open.  Stolen were 6 men sport watches, Sony 4k camera, 3 diamond rings and other various pieces of jewelry, and 2 BB guns.  Total value unknown

Arrest/Public Drunkenness – 2/5/20 @ 21:08 – Timothy Brown, age 54, was cited for Public Drunkenness.  Incident occurred at Mill Pond Shopping Center.

Arrest/Warrant– 2/6/20 @20:03 – Quassaia J. Self, age 23, was arrested by Hamilton Police for thefts that occurred in Morrisville on 12/18/19 and 1/6/20.

Arrest/Warrant –2/7/20 @ 01:07 –Jesse Wright, age 39, was arrested on a Warrant for Violation of Protection From Abuse Order for incident that occurred at 35 Union Street on 2/5/20 @ 20:16.

Arrest/Warrant – 2/7/20 @ 9:57 – Michael T. Covert was arrested on a Warrant from the Connecticut State Police.  Incident occurred on 100 block of E. Bridge St. 

Motor Vehicle Theft – 2/7/20 @ 14:44 – Report of 2000 Chevrolet Blazer with engine on and keys left in vehicle, value $3,000, stolen from Mill Pond Shopping Center on unit block of S. Pennsylvania Ave.

Attempted Retail Theft -2/9/20 @ 10:54 – Police were called to the Giant Food Store on W. Trenton Ave.  A female suspect attempted to steal approximately $486.15 worth of groceries without paying.  She was stopped at the entrance/exit door where she walked back into the store to act as if she was going to pay but then fled into the parking lot getting into a silver Toyota sedan.  All merchandise was recovered.

Arrest/Assault – 2/10/20 @ 10:53 – Rolandra Kapel, age 24, was arrested for Assault for an incident that occurred on 400 block of Plaza Blvd.
