Morrisville Man Charged for Smacking Woman in the Head with Cup of Water

A Morrisville man has been charged with fighting and harassment for an attack of woman last week. 

Police say they received assault in progress report on last Wednesday at 10 p.m at an undisclosed location. 

Officers located the female victim who reported that Michael Russo,63 was drunk and they were in the midst of verbal dispute when he smacked her in the head with a cup of water. 

Another male who was upstairs at the residence, came down after hearing yelling and saw Russo on top of the victim and broke up the attack.

Russo is scheduled to appear on September 9 to answer to the charges.
