Morrisville Police Reports: Crypto Account Hacked, Man Charged for Ordinance Violation/Warrant Issued for Threatening Officer and More

Morrisville Police Reports May 10 to May 15, 2022 

Fraud – 05/10/22 @ 16:25 – Report of Crypto Currency account was hacked and $3,450.46 was taken from the account.  Victim lives on the unit block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue.

Burglary – 05/12/22 @ 17:16 –An unknown person snuck into the residence while a family member was sleeping and stole an IPhone XR Max and Play Station on the 600 block of Coleman Avenue.  Value:  $560.00

Arrest/Borough Ordinance/Public Intoxication/Resisting Arrest/Warrant/Terroristic Threats – 05/12/22 @ 19:00 – Aaron Kauffman, age 42, was arrested for violating Borough Ordinance for use of Fireworks, Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest for an incident that occurred on the unit block of McClees Alley.  He was sent to Bucks County Prison.  In addition, a Warrant was issued for Mr. Kauffman for Terroristic Threats against a Police Officer.

Theft from Motor Vehicle – 05/15/22 @ 14:30 – Report of a purse containing vehicle keyfob, checkbook, credit/debit cards, personal IDs and $100 in currency was stolen from a vehicle in the Giant Plaza on W. Trenton Avenue.  While victim was returning shopping cart to the designated area, their purse was stolen from the vehicle.
