The annual Newtown Market Day will be held this Saturday and Newtown Police are advising the public of travel restrictions in the borough.
Road closures for the event will be in place beginning at 6 a.m. police said at the following locations:
- Court Street between Penn Street and Washington Avenue
- Centre Avenue between South Chancellor Street and South State Street
- Mercer Street between South State Street and Congress Street
- South Congress Street between Penn Street and Washington Avenue
There will be no parking beginning at 6 a.m. for the following streets:
- Court Street between Penn Street and Washington Avenue
- Centre Avenue between South Chancellor Street and South State Street
- Mercer Street between South State Street and Congress Street
- South Congress Street between Penn Street and Washington Avenue.
The outdoor event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Historic Newtown Borough Saturday
