The 5 K run travels through historic Newtown Borough beginning at 9:00 a.m.. Registration and start finish line is located at Newtown Borough Hall 23 North State Street.
Officials are expecting to max out with 800 shufflers participating in the 5K event.
There will be temporary road closures in place beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday March 14th, 2026.
If you live on the 5K Run route, please consider alternate routes and allow extra time for travelling. Local businesses will be open for business and the Police Department will assist as much as possible to help with travelling in Newtown. We will reopen the roads as soon as all participants are safely across the finish line.

North State Street between Washington Avenue and Greene Street will close at 7am for event setup in front of Borough Hall

Parking Restrictions:
No parking on North State Street between Washington Avenue and Greene Street will go into effect at 6:00am for event setup.
No overnight parking in the Newtown Borough Hall parking lot located at 23 North State Street
No parking along the race route!
