Newtown Man Charged with Sex Offenses against a Minor

A Newtown man has been charged with felony sex offenses against a minor that occurred in 2008.

Andrew Duchesneau, 31, of Newtown, was charged Tuesday with five felonies for indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old.

Newtown Police said in a release Duchesneau was 18 when the assaults took place.

He was processed and was arraigned by Justice Michael Petrucci where bail was set at $250,000 (10%) and he was sent to e Bucks County Prison.

Duchesneau is tentatively scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 24.
