Newtown Township Police Reports: June 27 2025 – July 2 2025

June 27, 2025
At approximately 11:30 pm police responded to a Newtown Township residence for the report of a burglary. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

June 29, 2025
At approximately 4:35 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Focus operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Buck Road and Mill Pond Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

Police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence shortly before 11:00 am for the report of a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, one male subject was taken into custody without incident for violating a Protection from Abuse Court Order.

At approximately 10:15 pm police responded to the area of South Eagle Road and Swamp Road for the report of a roadside disturbance. As a result of the investigation, two juveniles were issued disorderly conduct citations.

June 30, 2025
At approximately 9:30 am police responded to the area of Second Street Pike and Bennett Lane in Wrightstown Township for the report of a theft. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

July 2, 2025
At approximately 8:00 pm police responded to the area of the Chick-fil-a on West Road for the report of a two-vehicle traffic accident. Upon contact with one of the operators, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
