July 20, 2025
Police responded to a Newtown Township residence around 7:30 am for the report of a stolen vehicle. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
At approximately 9:45 am a Newtown Township resident responded to headquarters to report the theft of his motorcycle. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
July 21, 2025
At approximately 9:15 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet pick-up truck operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Campus Drive. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
July 22, 2025
At approximately 2:00 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Altima operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Second Street Pike and Cherry Lane. As a result of the investigation, the operator was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department and transferred without incident.
July 23, 2025
At approximately 11:45 am police conducted a traffic stop on a stolen U-Haul truck in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Summit Trace Road. As a result of the investigation, the truck was recovered and the operator was taken into custody without incident.
July 26, 2025
At approximately 2:30 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge pick-up truck operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Sycamore Street and Swamp Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. The operator refused to submit blood for chemical testing, and charges are pending.
July 27, 2025
At approximately 12:45 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Accord operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Campus Drive. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
July 29, 2025
At 10:35 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Explorer operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Buck Road and Mill Pond Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
July 31, 2025
At 9:30 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a BMW SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Durham Road and Windy Bush Road in Wrightstown Township. As a result of the investigation, a weapon, suspected narcotics, and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence, and the male operator was arrested in connection
