Newtown Twp Police Department Hires New Officer

Newtown Township Police Department recently hired a new officer.

Officer Matthew DuBeck was sworn in by District Judge Petrucci on December 4, 2025.

DuBeck graduated from Father Judge High School in 2021, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University in 2025, and completed the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officer Training Program at Temple University Police Academy in 2025, said police officials. DuBeck is excited to begin his law enforcement career serving Newtown and Wrightstown Townships.
