Newtown Township Police Reports – Nov 7 2025 – Nov 25 2025
11/8/25
At approximately 10:45 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Eagle Road and Stoopville Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
11/11/25
At approximately 2:45 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Rogue operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Penns Trail and Pheasant Run. As a result of the investigation, the operator was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department. He was also charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility with a bail of $25,000 – 10%.
At approximately 9:40 am police were contacted about an attempted theft of packages from a Newtown Township residence. The resident reported that a juvenile attempted to take a package, but was deterred and ran away when she opened her front door.
At approximately 8:35 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Rogue operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Buck Road. As a result of the investigation, illegal metal knuckles were discovered and seized as evidence, and the operator was charged with possessing a prohibited offensive weapon.
11/12/25
At approximately 5:15 pm police were dispatched to the area of Windy Bush Road and Pine Lane in Wrightstown Township for a two-vehicle traffic accident. Upon contact with one of the operators, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
11/13/25
At approximately 9:00 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Home Depot box truck operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of West Road. As a result of the investigation, the vehicle was seized for suspected involvement in cooking oil thefts in the area. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
11/14/25
A Newtown Township resident contacted police shortly before 3:00 pm to report identity theft. The incident was documented, and the resident was advised to contact his banks, credit card companies, and credit bureaus to further monitor his accounts.
11/15/25
At approximately 12:15 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Mercury sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Richboro Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. The operator refused to submit blood for chemical testing, and charges are pending.
11/16/25
At approximately 2:05 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Jeep SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Sycamore Street and Barclay Court. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
11/17/25
At approximately 9:45 pm police responded to the area of Buck Road and the Newtown Bypass for a three-vehicle traffic accident. Upon contact with one of the operators, the officer detected signs of impairment. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

As a result of the investigation into the retail theft that occurred at Ulta Beauty on October 28th, one female subject was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.

A Newtown Township resident contacted police at 9:00 pm to report fraud. The incident was documented, and the resident was advised to contact his banks, credit card companies, and credit bureaus to further monitor his accounts.

At approximately 3:30 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Lower Dolington Road and Newtown Yardley Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.
At approximately 9:15 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a BMW operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Campus Drive and the Newtown Bypass. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
