Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected signs of impairment.  As a result of the investigation, the operator was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, and narcotics were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.

9/10/25 – Police responded to a Wrightstown Township residence around 3:15 pm for the report of a fraud involving someone posing as the resident’s boss and requesting several gift cards via email. 9/11/25 – Police responded to a Newtown Township residence around 2:00 pm for the report of an attempted fraud. The resident explained that she was contacted by someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House in an attempt to get her to withdraw money to claim her prize. The resident recognized the scam and did not suffer a loss.
