An anonymous tipster called police about a wanted Langhorne man he saw in a local conveniance store in Penndel Borough.
According to police, Frank Peatross, 41, who had an outstanding warrant was seen at the Lincoln Highway 7-Eleven last Tuesday around 4:30 pm.
A confidential source called police to report the sighting, said officials. Police arrived on scene, identified, Peatross through a computer check, and discovered a warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s office was active.
Police say there are additional charges pending the outcome of an additional inevestigation.
Peatross was taken to Bucks County Jail and on the following day he was released after posting bail, according to online court records.
Peatross has two open and active criminal cases out of Bensalem for robbery and theft related offenses. He is scheduled to appear for trial in those cases on October 7.
