Cops: New Jersey Woman Crashes into Patio on Thanksgiving Night

Yardley Borough Police have charged a New Jersey woman with driving under the influence after she crashed into the patio of local residence on Thanksgiving night. 

Police responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a patio at the intersection of North Delaware and East Afton Avenues just after 9:30 p.m. Officers located the driver, a 29 year -old female from Ewing, New Jersey who was not injured. 

Upon further investigation, responding officer determined they had sufficient probable cause to charge  the woman with operating the crashed SUV under the influence of alcohol. 

As a result, a woman, age 29, from Ewing, NJ was arrested, processed and released.  Charges will be filed for DUI and the vehicle was impounded.. The matter is pending court. 

Estimated value of property damage was unknown  and the woman’s name was not released by authorities at press time.
