LSH Woman is Still Missing, Investigation is Ongoing

Lower Southampton Police say they are still looking for a 86 year-old local woman who went missing this weekend. 

Patricia “Pat” Calcavecchia, 86 has been missing since Sunday evening and was last seen in the Oakford section of the township, near Park Avenue, police said on Sunday. 

Investigators provided a brief update Monday afternoon after unfounded reports circulated on social media the missing senior had been found. 

On Wednesday Lower Bucks Source contacted Lower Southampton Police seeking an update on the the investigation. Police in response said, “she has not been found” and they “have investigative reasons for not releasing too much information” about the ongoing investigation. 

Shortly after our story posted Lower Southampton authorities posted on their social media platforms that they have received a number of tips on her disappearance and followed up on every one of them. 

Calcavecchia was last seen wearing a dark blue coat, dark pants, a white knit hat, and slippers.  Authorities say she might appear to be confused if you approach and try to speak with her.
