Yardley Police Catch Man Stealing Water from a Local Business, Charged

Yardley Borough Police arrested a Lower Makefield man for stealing water, officials said Tuesday. 

Police were  dispatched to a commercial property for  a report of a man stealing water, the release said.
Further investigation showed the unidentified suspect  had a prior contact with authorities and was warned in February by Yardley authorities for the same activity, police said. 

Theft charges have been filed against a man, age 47, from Lower Makefield, PA and the matter is pending a court hearing. 

No other information is available at this time about the suspect charged.
