A Trenton man remains in jail Saturday after having his bail cut in half as he stands accused of beating his ex-girlfriend bloody in January.
According to the probable cause filed by Tullytown Borough Police, officers were dispatched to 21 Stoneybrook Dr. Levittown for an abandoned 911 call on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at approximately 4:09 p.m.
Bucks County Dispatch advised police that a female was on the line crying and not answering. Dispatch then updated the call to a domestic in progress between the complainant and her ex-boyfriend Cornelius Noble. Officers were advised they got into a physical altercation and Noble left the scene. Noble was wearing black Adidas pants and black crocs with dreads. The area was checked and Noble was not located, officers wrote in court papers
On scene, police met with the victim whose face was covered in blood with an open cut under her left eye with active bleeding. She also suffered red strangulation marks on her neck, appeared in shock and was crying, according to court records.
She told police the altercation started when she observed a notification pop up on Noble’s phone from another girl. She asked who it was and told Noble to get out. The victim then called Noble’s mother to pick him up and that is when Noble started strangling her putting his hands around her neck and squeezing. The victim said he then punched her in the face causing a laceration under her eye. Noble threw her against the wall, and she stated the back of her head hit the vent. She told police Noble left the house through the backyard. She provided police with Noble’s information.
The victim was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital for evaluation. She was diagnosed by medical professionals which consisted of a contusion of the face, facial laceration, multiple abrasions and a forearm contusion, police said in the probable cause.
Noble, 20, earned himself a trip to Bucks County Correctional Facility, where there is a good chance he’ll get to celebrate his 21st birthday this Wednesday, on one felony count of aggravated assault and misdemeanors of strangulation and simple assault. His bail was originally set at 10 percent of $200,000.00 which was reduced to 10 percent of $100,000.00 last Friday by a Bucks County judge. Noble is scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing on April 1 to respond to the charges.
