Tullytown Blaze Destroys Home Thursday Morning

An early morning Tullytown Borough fire wrecked a home Thursday.

Fire Crews were called out into service just after 4 am according  to Bucks County 911 dispatch to the 600 block of Pond Street.

Flames had engulfed the front of the home when firefighters arrived on scene.

Tipsters told Lower Bucks Source the homeowner was at work at the time of the fire.

Fire crew from, American Hose, Hook, and Ladder; Bristol Consolidated; Edgely; Fairless Hills; Levittown No. 1; and Levittown No. 2 fire companies fought the blaze and were on scene for a little more than 1-hour.  The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad was also on the scene

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Tullytown Fire Marshal David Pearl, officials said.
